To coincide with this summer's Olympic road race on Saturday July 28 and Sunday July 29, Surrey Life is teaming up with Denbies and the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty to host a cycling celebration at the wine estate in Dorking.

Tens of thousands of spectators are expected to converge on the area around Dorking and Box Hill, which offers the best opportunity to see the cycle race.

The male cyclists complete nine circuits of Box Hill via the Zig Zag and the Surrey Hills Road Race Festival is an official live site, where visitors will be able to watch the race on a large screen.

There will also be a secure bike park, entertainment, a celebration of local food and drink and a cycling expo.

Entrance to the festival is free and it will be open between 8am and 7pm on Saturday July 28 and between 8am and 5pm on Sunday July 29.

Partners involved in the festival include the Surrey Hills Society, the Community Foundation for Surrey, Surrey Scout Association, Surrey Hills AONB, the National Trust, Surrey Heritage, Surrey Chamber of Commerce, local farmers and growers and Surrey Life magazine.

The Denbies train will be on hand to ferry visitors back and forth. Roads will be closed to cars but the vineyard is within easy walking distance of Box Hill, West Humble and Dorking and Leatherhead train stations and it is also accessible by cycle track
